We are happy to announce that we are bringing on our first employee other than our management team! Now that we are getting clients and need to keep our records and answer our phones, we need some help.
Meghan Land starts today as a part-time receptionist/caregiver. We are excited to have her join us, because we know our clients and staff will love working with her. Sue Ann has worked with her for the past year on the Milam Touch of Love animal welfare organization, and has been impressed with her administrative skills. Meghan says:
I'm SO excited for this opportunity, I am going to work hard and do my best to be someone Kathleen can rely on!
She will be with us Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the office, and working with clients as she gets trained in how we do things. You'll love her as much as we do! Here's a little bit about Meghan, in her own words:
We moved here 3.5 years ago from San Diego. The move was huge for me - I drove myself and the kids and 2 cats, it was a huge turning point for me in knowing what I am capable of. I went through a divorce a year after the move, and was raising 5 kids (ages now: Nicole 15, Kiera and Kylie 12, Xander 9, and Zoey 5) on my own. Cody and I met through his mom. We were carpooling and he became my safe place. We've been dating for just over a year now.
